At the beginning of 2023, Yustina was enrolled in to project where she participated in various trainings concerning climate smart agriculture specifically on veggies and poultry husbandry.

After training, Yustina with other group members who were eight, decided to invest in poultry husbandry where the group was able to raise 200 chickens from which the group was able to earn Tzs. 2,200,000/= (960.52 Us$).  Yustina was able to get Tzs, 250,000/= from the group where part of the money was to buy a sewing machine at Tzs. 180,000/= so that she can continue to generate income from tailoring. The remaining money is Tzs. 70,000/= was used to invest in buying various clothes for tailoring.

Ms. Yustina testified that; “ I  am now able to generate income through tailoring, I thank my colleagues in a group. My life is improving gradually because I am getting money to fulfil my family’s needs and I expect to maintain paying shares to my group so that after time will get enough capital to invest more in chicken production but also in other agricultural activities so as to sustain three meals per and increase income.”
