This is done by training the local community in disaster preparedness and coming up with Disaster risk plans.

Enhancing economic development to boost the economic growth, promoting social development for women and the entire population, cushioning climate change impacts, and helping to reduce poverty levels.

Environmental Management

Gender equity and equality

Women live in a safe and equal society; have equal access to leadership roles, resources and opportunities; be treated with dignity, respect and fairness.

Governance & Accountability

To strengthen the capacities of community members and local government to work together in order to enhance the quality of public services.

Fighting inequality in agriculture sector

Invest in farm productivity. Adopt and learn new technologies and discourage gender inequities in agriculture.

Urban Refugees & displaced groups

we strive to maximise the skills, productivity and knowledge that displaced populations bring to urban areas, striving to help those who have lost so much to find the safety and security they deserve.

Reforestation

Reforestation projects help small and disadvantaged communities to plant trees and reforest the degraded forests that they previously could not afford, or did not have the capacity to implement. This project also trains them on the importance of forests and tree planting and shows them the benefits they can get from forests for example bee keeping.

Youth Empowerment

We encourage young people to take charge of their lives. They do this by addressing their situation and then taking action in order to improve their access to resources and transform their consciousness through their beliefs, values, and attitudes.

Gender Justice

Ending the inequalities between women and men that are produced and reproduced in the families, the communities in Ngara.

Gender Based Violence

We work to change attitudes, or question gender roles and stereotypes that make gender-based violence acceptable in society.

Humanitarian Support

TCRS alleviates suffering and maintain human dignity during and after man-made crises and disasters caused by natural hazards, as well as to prevent and strengthen preparedness for when such situations occur. We also ensure that services are delivered efficiently in refugee camps and that displaced people are protected in all types of communal displacement settings.

Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH)

TCRS provides access to clean water and reliable sanitation, and promotes basic hygiene practices in rural and urban areas, including in emergency situations. We aim for safe water, toilets and good hygiene to keep people alive and healthy.
