Climate-smart economic empowerment project implemented by TCRS with funding from Norwegian Church Aid (NCA) has supported drip irrigation systems for Mr. Pius Mungo(54 years old) in Kishapu, Shinyanga. With this support, Mr. Pius has managed to earn more yields and income to provide basic needs for his family and support his children’s education. Drip farming saves his time in agriculture which he uses for other income-generating activities such as cash crops cultivation and small animal keeping. Prior to this he used to water his produce using buckets and jerry cans which were time consuming.
